Feel free to ask more questions by contacting me or sending a message. In my office, there is no such thing as dumb questions. All questions are welcome. Thank you!

Do you offer in-person sessions?

I am a hybrid-modality therapist offering both in-person and virtual sessions, or both. Depending on your needs and situation, I may feel that you may benefit more in-person in which case we can arrange for that.

How long does each therapy session take?

Each session, individual and couples counseling, will be 50 minutes long unless otherwise specified. Typically group sessions are 1 hour and 20 minutes, for a pre-determined number of weeks.

What if I don't know what to talk about in therapy?

Some sessions will be more difficult than others, whether that's because you don't know what you'd want to talk about or because the topic at hand is hard to discuss. Regardless of the reason, as long as you show up and are willing to work, my job as your therapist is to conduct a conducive session. It's alright if you don't know what the session will be about.

What is your rate and do you offer a sliding scale?

Yes. I offer sliding scale rates for individual sessions. My current rate for a 50-minute individual session ranges between $200-225 and $250 for a 50-minute couples therapy session. We can further discuss an agreed upon rate during a 15 minute, free consultation call.

Do you take insurance?

We are out-of-network and do not take insurance. However, I can provide you with a superbill if your insurance covers out-of-network costs. Additionally, I work on a sliding scale, if there are financial struggles. Sliding scales are used to determine a rate that will be suitable to the individual.

How will I know if a therapist is a good fit for me?

One key indicator is how comfortable and safe you feel talking about personal things. Another way to search for a suitable fit is to look at the approaches the therapist uses in their practice. Be sure to understand the methods and interventions used.
